What data we process and why

Name, e-mail, phone (if provided) and information about the holiday you have in mind (destination, dates, number and age of travellers, budget, note). We process it to reply to you, prepare holiday proposals and provide the service you ordered.

The legal basis is taking steps prior to entering into a contract and performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and, for invoicing, compliance with legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

How long we keep the data

Inquiries that did not result in an order are deleted within 12 months at the latest. Data required for accounting is kept for the period required by law.

Who we share the data with

Our web hosting and e-mail provider (WebSupport s.r.o.) and our accountant. If you choose a holiday proposal, you enter the data needed for booking directly with the airline, hotel or transfer company – they are independent controllers.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and the right to object. Just write to kontakt@dovolenkaris.sk. If you believe we are handling your data incorrectly, you can lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic.
